Abstract
This article examines the functional nature of artistic psychologism in lyric poetry, focusing on its functions in expressing the lyrical subject’s inner world, deepening lyrical experience, revealing the psychological content of images and motifs, harmonizing external reality with the inner psychological state, and ensuring poetic integrity. It substantiates the view that artistic psychologism is not limited to the depiction of the psyche or to an individual psychological device, but functions as a poetic principle that integrates the semantic and formal layers of the lyrical text. Internal monologue, psychological detail, symbolic imagery, psychological parallelism, associative thinking, metaphorical expression, and temporal-spatial relations are analyzed as poetic means through which the various functions of artistic psychologism are realized in lyric poetry. The article also explores the individual-stylistic and psycho-chronotopic functions of artistic psychologism.
