Abstract
This article analyzes the lexicosemantic system of livestock terminology in the Uzbek language. The study examines the division of livestock terms into micro- and macro-systems and explores their classification using polytomic, dichotomic, polydichotomic, and dichopolytomic approaches. In addition, the research highlights the role of livestock terminology within the specialized lexicon and its reflection of the lifestyle and cultural heritage of the Uzbek people. The findings indicate that systematic study of livestock terminology can support the creation of explanatory dictionaries and contribute to the scientific and methodological development of the field.
