This article examines the source potential of archaeological discoveries and ethnographic materials for investigating the secret knowledge of ritual specialists in the traditional medicine of Khorezm. Using historical-comparative and source-critical methods, the study analyzes cult structures, pottery, symbolic motifs, amulets, and other archaeological evidence. The findings demonstrate that these materials provide valuable evidence for reconstructing ancient healing practices, religious and magical beliefs, and the historical development of traditional medicine. The study contributes new perspectives to the understanding of ritual culture and indigenous medical traditions in Khorezm.
