PRESERVATION OF KHOREZM’S NATIONAL BREAD-MAKING TRADITIONS AND DEVELOPMENT OF GASTRONOMIC TOURISM

Аннотация
This article analyzes the ancient traditions of national bread-making in the Khorezm oasis, their historical and cultural significance, and their potential role in the development of modern gastronomic tourism. The traditional bread-making culture of Khorezm has been formed over centuries and represents not only food culture but also an important element of the spiritual values, customs, and lifestyle of the local population. The study examines the tradition of preparing “Durgadik patir”, preserved in Tomadurgadik village of Khanka district, focusing on the scientific study, documentation, preservation, and promotion of this unique gastronomic heritage as a tourism resource. The article also highlights the importance of traditional cuisine and bread-making traditions in developing ethno-tourism routes and supporting socio-economic growth of the region.
