STAGES OF CHILDHOOD, AND THE PROVISION OF CHILDREN’S RIGHTS IN ISLAM

Аннотация
In Islam, childhood is considered one of the most important and respected stages of human life. The Islamic religion mandates treating children with special attention, compassion, and kindness. This article is dedicated to the study of the history of children s rights, the attention given to the child and stages of childhood in Islam, as well as the issues regarding children s rights and their guarantees. Based on Islamic sources—the Holy Quran and the Sunnah— as well as modern research, the article analyzes the child’s rights to life, health, upbringing, education, property, and social welfare. Furthermore, the care extended to orphans and their rights within Islamic law are specifically highlighted. The research demonstrates that Islamic values regarding children are founded on principles of compassion, justice, and responsibility, and play a significant role in ensuring children s rights in modern society.
