SOCIAL-LEGAL APPROACH TO THE DEFINITION OF “CIVIL SOCIETY”

Аннотация
Civil society as a form of existence of the people, its non-political institutions is among the ancient entities. However, as a political-philosophical category - the idea of civil society, the best option or ideal, corresponding to the modern model of statehood in the XXI century. The paper states that the ideas of civil society are closely intertwined with the ideas of the rule of law, liberalism, self-government, etc. A brief description of the norms of the new edition of the Constitution of the Republic of Uzbekistan relating to civil society is also given.
