Аннотация
The article provides an extensive analysis of the ideological and artistic features of the book “Fly, My Dove, Fly” by the writer-publicist and historian Israfil Mammadov. In the author’s novellas, short stories, philosophical and journalistic articles, and miniatures, human spirituality, national memory, the tragedies of war, the aspiration for peace, and the relationship between humans and nature are explored from an artistic and philosophical perspective. In the works “Uncle Mehdi’s Horse” and “Mir Abdullah’s Dog — Alabash”, the ideas of loyalty, compassion, conscience, and humanity are presented through profound philosophical meanings. In the story “Fly, My Dove, Fly”, the negative impact of war on children’s destinies, the pursuit of peace, and universal human values come to the forefront as central themes. The article also examines the author’s views on science, nature, and the universe based on his work “Our Attitude Towards the Universe”, while characterizing his encyclopedic worldview and journalistic style. The study concludes that Israfil Mammadov’s creative work possesses not only artistic and aesthetic significance but also important spiritual and ideological value in preserving national memory and spiritual values.
