In the article, the importance of the prosecutor's participation in the protection of the rights of persons under criminal prosecution at the preliminary hearing stage, the clear and uniform implementation of laws at this stage, ensuring the rule of law and legality, and the prevention of violations of the rights of persons under criminal prosecution at the preliminary investigation and inquiry or trial stage are discussed in the article. The opinions expressed by national and foreign legal scholars on the issues of improving the prosecutor's participation, what are their duties, the cases that should be paid attention to in this regard, were analyzed.
