IP telephony is an integral part of modern business communication. Its implementation helps companies of all sizes improve communications, increase productivity and reduce operating costs. With a wide range of functions and high flexibility, VoIP telephony is becoming an important tool for successful business in the digital age. But even in this area, telephone scammers appear more and more often, since modern technologies allow them to easily find their victims and make good money on their naivety. This paper aims to discuss and analyze the means and methods of committing such crimes, and also provides proposals for combating them.
