NATURAL LAW THEORIES AS AN IDEOLOGICAL BASIS FOR INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS: ARE THEY PRESENT IN NATIONAL LEGISLATION?

Abstract
The article analyzes the significance of economic and legal doctrines based on natural law theories in regulating social relations related to intellectual property objects. It substantiates how these theories serve as an ideological foundation for the commercialization of intellectual property and the establishment of its legal regime. The author examines approaches based on natural law and incentive theories through examples from national legislation and international practices. The study concludes with the author’s position on the matter.
