THE THEME OF “USUFNAME” IN MODERN ARABIC AND UZBEK SHORT STORIES

Abstract
This article analyzes the theme of “Yusufname”, interpretation of images, educational ideas and content, artistic and irfanical interpretation and symbolically figurative expression, literary and aesthetic thought, the world of epic characteristics in modern Arabic and Uzbek literature, in particular, in the short stories. Writers expressed their attitude to the life stories of prophets through the art of “talmeh”. This kind of works involves two different approaches from the point of the writer’s view: one binds an event from the life of prophets with the content of the work; the other creates archetypal characters in the work, then call the character of the work after the name of the same prophet, and the events in the life of this prophet is intertwined with the real life of the character of the work.
