LEGAL MECHANISMS FOR THE IMPLEMENTATION OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION BY THE BODIES OF CITIZENS’ SELF-GOVERNMENT

This article analyzes the role and significance of citizens' self-governing bodies in publicadministration processes. In Uzbekistan's legislation, these structures are recognized as importantsubjects in social governance, with their legal status and powers clearly defined. The article highlightsareas such as addressing socio-economic issues through mahalla citizens’ assemblies, cooperation inmaintaining public order, and supporting vulnerable social groups. The role of the mahalla system indemocratic governance is revealed through modern forms of citizen-based management, internationalexperience, and scholarly perspectives
