The Development of Legal Documents That Determine the Punishments Related to the Involvement of Persons Who Have Committed Crimes in Forced Labor

In this article, the development of legal documents, which determine punishments related to forcedlabor of persons who have committed crimes in the Republic of Uzbekistan, is scientifically andtheoretically researched. In this, the Sharia rules of our country, the Criminal Codes of 1926, 1959and 1994, the punishments related to forced labor were analyzed in detail. In particular, the articlefocuses on the comparative analysis of norms stipulated in the Criminal Codes of Uzbekistan of 1926,1959 and 1994. In particular, the Criminal Code of 1926 provides for compulsory labor withoutdeprivation of liberty as a sanction for 78 crimes or 24% of the crimes provided for in the Code. Thenorms of the Special Part of the Criminal Code of 1959, more precisely, in 174 out of 454 crimes,38.3%, the punishment of correctional work is defined as a sanction. Likewise, the norms of theSpecial Part of the Criminal Code of 1994, more precisely, in 203 out of 491 crimes, that is, in 41.3%,correctional work punishment is defined as a sanction. Also, the article focuses on issues such as theneed to include mandatory community service as a new type of punishment in the current criminallegislation of Uzbekistan, as well as the state of its application.
