Abstract

The article analyses the concept of ideological threats under the cover of religion, used by various religious extremist movements and terrorist groups to justify their destructive ideology. The interrelation of state security and ideological sphere is investigated. Different scientific approaches to understanding this type of ideological threat are compared and authorised, as well as distinguished among other ideological threats.
