Abstract

: In the grammar of Arabic, function words constitute a category that is characterised by brevity, consisting of a small number of letters. Given the intricate syntactic changes that characterise this language, function words are often deployed within sentences. These words serve to streamline the intricacies of the language to a certain extent. Despite their conciseness, function words exhibit a vast semantic range. This article explores these changes in greater detail.
