Abstract

This article describes the concept of gender in Eastern and European antiquity, its definition, the debate over the interpretation of its meaning and the lexical meaning of this concept. Functional gender classification at the theological (pantheon) level in Zoroastrian Avestan society Zoroastrian goddesses such as Chista, Ardvi Sura, Ashi are understood through gender universality.
