  In this article the works of scientists who lived and worked in the territory of Uzbekistan in ancient times on the rights of the child are studied. The essence and significance of historical works on the rights of the child are revealed. The important work of Muhammad ibn Mahmud al-Ustrushani "Jami ahkam as-sighar" on the rights of the child is widely covered. In addition, Burhaniddin al-Marginani's "Hidaya", Maksudkhoja ibn Mansurkhoja's "Majma ul-Maksud", Burhanuddin Mahmud al-Bukhari's "al-Muhit" and other works on the subject are analyzed.
