The article comprehensively analyzes the current theoretical and practical issues of qualifying crimes related to the violation of traffic safety rules or the safe operation of vehicles. It also scientifically examines the criteria for distinguishing this crime from other related offenses in the transport sector, including official negligence, failure to perform official duties, and causing death by negligence, and proposes relevant scientific recommendations.
