ISSUES OF CRIMINAL LAW ASSESSMENT OF THE OBJECTIVE ELEMENTS OF FRAUD IN THE DIGITAL ENVIRONMENT

Abstract
The article analyzes, from the perspective of criminal law, the object, subject matter and objective elements of fraud committed in the digital environment. It reveals the distinctive features of the traditional corpus delicti of fraud and fraud committed through the use of information technologies. The need to consider social relations related to digital assets, electronic funds, personal data and the security of information systems as an additional object of this crime is substantiated. The article also analyzes the problems associated with deception carried out by technical means, the collection of digital evidence and the cross-border nature of such crimes.
