CRIMINAL LAW PROBLEMS OF USING ARTIFICIAL INTELLIGENCE AS A MEANS OF COMMITTING A CRIME

Abstract
This article provides a comprehensive study of the theoretical and practical criminal law issues related to the use of artificial intelligence technologies as a means of committing crimes. It analyzes the role of artificial intelligence in the mechanism of crime commission, its distinctive features compared to traditional means of committing crimes, the relationship between a person’s criminal intent and algorithmic activity, as well as issues concerning the subject of a crime, guilt, causation, complicity, and preparation for a crime. Furthermore, the main directions for improving legal liability related to the use of artificial intelligence in committing crimes are also highlighted.
