TRANSFORMATION OF LEGAL EDUCATION IN THE CONTEXT OF DIGITALIZATION: MODERN TRENDS AND PROSPECTS FOR TEACHING “DIGITAL LAW”

Аннотация
This article provides a comprehensive analysis of modern trends and future prospects in teaching “Digital Law” in the context of the global digital transformation of legal education. Particular attention is paid to the impact of the digital economy, artificial intelligence, big data, blockchain, cloud technologies, and cybersecurity on the evolution of legal relations and the emergence of new legal institutions such as LegalTech and RegTech. The study substantiates the need to modernize legal education by introducing an interdisciplinary approach that integrates law, information technology, and management. It highlights the importance of developing digital competencies, critical thinking skills, data literacy, and practice-oriented knowledge among law students. Based on an analysis of international experience (including the United States, the European Union, and Singapore), the article identifies effective methods for teaching digital law, such as online learning platforms, simulation-based education, case studies, and clinical legal training. The paper concludes with practical recommendations for the implementation and development of the “Digital Law” discipline within the legal education system of Uzbekistan, including curriculum modernization and the strengthening of its scientific and practical foundations.
