INTERNATIONAL COOPERATION IN OBTAINING DIGITAL EVIDENCE IN THE INVESTIGATION OF TERRORISM-RELATED CRIMES

Аннотация
This article provides a detailed analysis of the legal foundations and mechanisms for the timely requesting of electronic data possessing evidentiary value in criminal cases related to terrorism from the territory of foreign states, using both formal and informal forms of international cooperation, while taking into account the requirements of admissibility of evidence. In addition, considering the specific characteristics inherent in digital evidence, the article proposes a procedure for initially sending a direct request to service providers in order to ensure the preservation (integrity) of the requested electronic data.
