Abstract

The article focuses on the potential of Uzbekistan in the field of international pilgrim tourism, in particular, the historical conditions necessary for the development of pilgrim tourism in the country, its role as an object of pilgrim tourism today, the challenges awaiting their solution in this direction, and promising results. In addition, the article provides a brief description of the work carried out in the Republic of Uzbekistan to develop pilgrim tourism at the state level. The article also provides information on internal and external cooperation carried out in order to develop pilgrimage tourism.
