This article contains information about the Russian writer, traveler, archeologist, orientalist, artist, statesman and public figure and academic of the Russian Academy of Arts Nikolai Konstantinovich Roerich and his scientific research in Uzbekistan. In particular, the symbols on the panels found in excavations of different years in the western part of the ancient city of Afrosiyab, the ring carved ganch in the hall of the Samanid palace, the three-element sign on the tomb of the prophet Daniel, the symbol on the roof of the State Museum of Timurid history and Khorezm.
