Abstract

The article examines the mythological foundations of the theological system of the Avesta and the ideas of the primitive philosophy of nature – natural philosophy. There are scientific conclusions that the system of gods and goddesses, such as Mithra, Varahran, Ashi, is described as abstract celestial emblems, and concepts that deify natural phenomena, such as Apam Napat, Hvarkhshet, Mach, arose as the fruit of human thinking.
