Mawerannahr Fiqh Schools and Their Role in the Development of Islamic Law

Abstract

The paper discusses the main features of Islamic law – Fiqh, in particular, Maverannahr Fiqh schools as well as their great leaders and their scientific heritage. Analyzing the sources some new Samarkandi, Marghinani and Pazdavi Faqihs were founded out and their life and scientific heritage was highlighted. The special aspects of Fiqh schools were explained and the conclusion on them was drawn.
