Abstract

The present article discusses the history of pension payment in Islam, the amount of payment, and who pays it. In the article, the formal rulings (fatwas) concerning pension from the work called “Jamiy’ ahkam as-sig’ar” of Majduddin Muhammad ibn Mahmud al-Ustrushaniy have been selected and translated into the Uzbek language. Al-Ustrushaniy was a great figure in Ustrushana scientific-cultural center who conducted scientific research in the Early Renaissance period.
