ETHICS OF THE NEIGHBORHOOD IN THE WORK “ROMUZUL-AHADIS” OF AHMAD ZIYOUDDIN AL-KUMUSHKHANAWI

Abstract

The article examines the etiquette of good neighborliness given in the work of piri murshed from the Naqshbandi-kumushhonavi trend of Ahmad Ziyuddin al-Kumushkhanawi’s (1813–1893) “Romuzul-ahodis”, which became the reason for the spread of the Naqshbandiya doctrine around the world, founded by Bahauddin Naqshband. Ahmad Ziyovuddin al-Kumushkhanawi in the book “Romuzul-ahodis” – “The Sea of Hadith” on page 238 gives 15 etiquettes of good neighborliness. The article provides examples of some of the good neighborly manners mentioned by Kumushkhanawi from the hadiths of the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allah be upon him).
