The article discusses the definitions of a juridical term must be reflect adequately the essence and content of the concept defined concept, each normative concept must be assigned its own and strict unambiguous term, once and for all given to the branches of the law that usage the corresponding concept. Also, it is necessary to comply with the requirements for the normative function of the juridical terminology, including: obligatory consideration of linguistic characteristics a word acting as a term, determining the specifics of its lexical and syntactic connections, establishing the degree of correspondence of its lexical meaning, provide ideal prerequisites for high-quality preparation of regulatory legal acts.
