KHOJA AHMAD YASAVI AND THE SECT OF YASAVIYA IN THE VIEW OF FOREIGN SCHOLARS

A number of researches of Uzbek, Russian, Turkish and Kazakh Yassavi scholars on the founder of the Yasaviya sect, Khoja Ahmad Yassavi, his “DevoniHikmat” and his followers can be highly appreciated. However, it is clear to Yasavischolars that foreign studies, especially, done in English, have not been studied separately.There are a lot of researches about Yasavi, hissect and his works done by the American Yasavi scholar D.DeWeese. This article is a comparative analysis of the views of D. DeWees and other scholars on the life, birth, family, disciples, status of the sect, the details of the mausoleum of Khoja Ahmad Yasavi.The article also includes the researcheswritten by the foreign scholars such as J.Trimingham, E.Allworth and J.Gross.
