DEPICTION OF ECCENTRICITY IN NOVELLAS BY PU SUNGLING

Abstract
In the article below, depiction of oddity, in the works by a well-known Chinese novelist-Pu Singling, will be touched upon. His novellas, being popular around the world, have been translated into different languages and published as well. His contemporaries and other well-educated people do admire his piece work and enjoy reading them while folklorists adopted these novellas. The syuzhets in these novellas were performed in the scene as well as depicted in paintings and miniatures. Pu Sungling’s delineating the signs of eccentricity in his novellas is the main idea of this research article. Even though Pu Sungling, the novelist worked under pseudonym Lyao Jai, wrote “Short stories about Lyao Jai’s adventures” in wenyan, his work gained popularity since the language and style was simplified. Because Pu Sunglings literary heritage was full with the signs of eccentricity, it was famous both among his contemporaries and other writers around the globe.
