FACED PROBLEMS IN TRANSLATING MILITARY TEXTS

Abstract
This article presents the results of the study of methods for translating military terms and abbreviations from English into Uzbek. In the course of the work, taking into account the requirements of modern global inter-linguistic and intercultural communication, military terminology, genre and stylistic features of military documents were identified within the framework of the US Army textbook in English and Uzbek; in the course of the work, the requirements of modern global inter-language and intercultural communication, military terminology, genre and stylistic features of military documents were taken into account within the framework of the US Army textbook in English and Uzbek; on the basis of the data obtained within the framework of the field manual of the US Army in English, the features of military documents were revealed; types of military cuts and reductions in military terms; and also provides a definition of the term "military term".
