Abstract

To date, the year is conducted according to the Gregorian and Hijri calendars. The Hijra year is associated with the resettlement of our Prophet in Medina. The names of the months in the Hijri calendar have their own history. This article discusses the reasons for choosing the names of the months in the Hijri calendar.
