THE ANALYTIC MEANS INDICATING ASPECTUAL CATEGORIES IN TURKIC LANGUAGES

Abstract

The grammatical category of the form is a type of the Slavic language, which is used in an international terminology as an aspect, as form in the Slavic language, and in the Uzbek language as “tus”. The form means completed / uncompleted action of the verb. This linguistic phenomenon in Turkic languages is somewhat different from the Slavic form category. In Turkic, such as in Uzbek, the verb meaning is expressed by the main and auxiliary verbs rather than with one independent verb. At the same time, the main verb comes from one of the functional forms characterized in Uzbek language (main verb, participle, gerund and infinitive), and the main lexical meaning of the verb is understood from the main verb. The auxiliary verb adds additional aspectual meaning to the main verb. But it does not change the lexical meaning of the verb. It does not make a new verb. Therefore, such verbs are called auxiliary verbs. This article examines aspectual – functional semantic field of the Turkic, especially the Uzbek language, and the problems that constitute its form (aspect), bounded/ unbounded (actionality), the mode of action, the spatial meaning, and other means of aspectuality. The author studied the work of many linguists who investigated the problems of actuality in Turkic languages and analyzed their views and opinions.
