STRUCTURE OF THE CONCEPT COLOR

Аннотация
At present, studies of color terms are relevant, carried out in the context of the cognitive- discursive and anthropological paradigms. Color designations are a linguistic representation of information about color, therefore, their study gives an idea of the peculiarities of visual perception and the organization of the color continuum in human consciousness. In addition, color is characterized by the ability to designate a wide range of material and ideal features and phenomena, a wealth of associative meanings. Extra-linguistic studies of color, along with studies of the physical nature of light and the phenomena of color contrast, have many applied dimensions associated with the possibilities of applying knowledge about color in a number of areas, with human perception of color.
