Abstract

  The article is devoted to tracing – one of the ways of forming economic terminology in the modern Arabic literary language. Tracing (tracing the meaning of foreign words) is the semantic borrowing of words from another language by literally translating the structure of a word. When tracing, the components of a borrowed word or phrase are translated separately and combined according to the model of a foreign word or phrase. Key words: calque, borrowing, modern literary Arabic language, language structure, translation, associative meaning, nominative units, phrases, classification.
