Abstract

  It is known that in the Middle Ages the land of Transoxiana was one of the cradles of science. Great scientists who have made a great contribution to the development of world civilization have grown out of it. One of such scientists is Makhmoud Zamakhshari. The article analyzes his maqamas and their features. This article provides interesting information for researchers studying the genre of maqams in Arabic literature, its historical development.
