THE ROLE OF MUSTAFA SABRI IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF KALAM SCIENCE

Аннотация
The article provides an analysis of the dogmatic views and works of the Turkish scientists Mustafa Sabri and Zahid Kawsari. It should be noted that the period in which these scholars lived coincides with the time of dogmatic differences and complex political processes in the Islamic world. In particular, at the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, the stagnation in the development of the Ottoman Sultanate worried some intellectuals, and all their attention was absorbed by the idea of innovations and reforms. As a result, a movement named “The New Kelam Science” appeared. In their books, the scholars of Ahl al-Sunnah wal-Jamaa called for a peaceful solution to these disputes. Zahid Kawsari and Mustafa Sabri were known as scholars who supported unity in such a conflicting and complicated period.
