Abstract

This article is dedicated to clarifying the essence of the concept of value. In particular, the essence of this concept is analyzed from different perspectives. The article examines value as an integral part of a person and his life. The components that make up the content of this concept are analyzed from the perspective of sociology, economics and linguistics. Restrictive and non-restrictive measurement parameters of its content are studied. Value is interpreted as a criterion or standard against which a certain assessment is made.
