Аннотация

The article describes the state of Ustrush in the ancient and early Middle Ages, as well as the social and political events that took place there. Since Ustrushana has been a progressive space on the Great Silk Road connecting the West and East since time immemorial, attacks have been made on this land in every period, and information is systematically given about the struggle of the Ustrushana against the Arab and Mongol invasions. The historical and geographical position of Ustrushana, the customs of its inhabitants, the economic aggregate and genealogy of the Afshins, as well as information about this country in Greek, Chinese, Persian, and Arabic sources, were also carefully analyzed.
