Abstract

The article is devoted to the experiences of the famous historian, writer, geographer, traveler and educator of Central Asia at the beginning of the 19th century, Haji Muhammad Hakim Khan ibn Sayyid Masumkhan, which he mentions in his book “Muntahab at-tavarih”. The events that happened to him give us a chance to look at the little-known aspects of the relationship and perceptions of ordinary people and the aristocracy of neighboring regions, between which, by the will of fate, not only geopolitical, but also religious borders lay.
