Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the genesis of the tongue-twister genre, especially the tongue-twister Turkic people’s historical and evolutionary development and the initial social functions of the genre. Opinions about the genetic roots of the tongue-twister genre, the stages of development are given in the general conclusions. In the process of the research, the factual materials on the genre of Russian, Turkic and other peoples' tongue-twister and its genesis were studied and analyzed and on this basis, detailed conclusions were given.
