This article provides information about the types of systems developed on the basis of various biometric parameters and the scope. In particular, in the process of ensuring information security, the use of systems developed on the basis of biometric parameters in educational institutions is analyzed. The advantages and disadvantages of human recognition technologies based on biometric features, such as face images, pupils, fingerprints, voice, are described.
