Abstract

This article presents an analysis of the sources used by Mahmud Zamakhshari in writing his work on Arabic grammar, “al-Mufassal fiy san’at al-e’rab” The scholar supported every rule of grammar with strong arguments. It is known that the most correct text in Arabic is the verses of the Holy Qur’an. At the same time, Zamakhshari explained how the differences between Qur’an recitations affect the structure of sentences and meaning of ayats.
