Some Reflections on Metaphors in “Shamoili Muhammadiya” by Abu Isa At-Termizi

Abstract

This article analyzes the grammatical elements used to express the similarity in the hadiths related to the siyrat of the Prophet (s.a.v). Some aspects of scientific terms such as comparison, tashbeh and metaphor, as well as types of tashbehs are considered. The conclusion of the article emphasizes the importance of hadiths containing tashbehs in expressing the appearance of the Prophet (s.a.v).
