The Role of Religion in Preventing Gender Problems

Аннотация

The article is devoted to the role of religion in the prevention of gender aspects, since gender studies on different material show that institutional religions reinforce the subordinate position of women, at the same time alienate women from themselves due to the fact that they do not respect women’s rights. The departure of some modern women from mosques as a social institution, however, does not mean a rejection of Islamic ideas, values or principles.
