Abstract
The article provides detailed information about the great scientist Muhaddith, Imam Abu Zakariya Nawawi, who gained fame in his time, about the place of his birth, life and death, his interest in science, his piety, his teachers, his students, his scientific activities and his work . In addition, the collection of hadiths of the scientist “Riyazu-s-Salihin”, its topics, the order of the book, the number of hadiths, their content, as well as their high position in the Muslim world were discussed.
