Abstract

the article examines the existing Buddhist monuments in Uzbekistan as a new direction for the development of pilgrimage tourism. The possibilities of organizing pilgrimage tourism based on the Buddhist temple in Tashkent, Buddhist monuments located in Surkhandarya and Fergana regions were analyzed. Also, information is given on the measures implemented for the development of pilgrimage tourism.
