THE KHOREZMIAN JURIST MUKHTAR AZ-ZAHIDI AND HIS ROLE IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF HANAFI JURISPRUDENCE
НАЖМИДДИНОВ, Зафар
Аннотация
Mukhtar ibn Mahmud az-Zahidi is one of the most prominent representatives of the scientific community of Khorezm in the 13th century. The scholar wrote thirteen works in the field of jurisprudence and Islamic theology, of which only one has been published to date. In his works, Zahidi tried to find a legal solution to the political and economic problems caused by the Mongol invasion. One of the current topics of discussion is the issue of the status of “dar al-Islam” of Central Asia. The reason why Zahidi’s works were not accepted into the madrasah system of Central Asia is that he was inclined towards Mu’tazilism.
