THEMATIC-SEMANTIC ANALYSIS OF NUMEROLOGICAL PHRASEOLOGICAL UNITS

The article provides a thematic-semantic classification of phraseological units with the component denoting "numeral" on the material of the English and Uzbek languages. Phraseological units with the "numeral" component are interpreted as nationally-culturally marked language units, reflecting in their semantics the national culture of a certain linguoculture. As a result of the analysis, ten thematic-semantic groups of phraseological units with the component "numeral" were identified, some of them being universal for both languages ​​and some of them being nationally specific for the English language. National-cultural specifics of phraseological units is found in phraseological units: 1) having no equivalents in one of the studied languages; 2) containing national realia; 3) containing notions related to historical, socio-political, religious events and facts; 4) representing certain cultural values ​​of a particular linguoculture.
